Intensive Respiratory Care Unit- Specialized Treating case of Tetanus & Hanging, State the of art ventilator to provide non invasive& invasive mechanical Ventilator for patients of ARDS, COPD,  Asthma & Pneumonia etc.

Emergency Schedule

Dedicated Intensive Respiratory Care Unit accepts admission through the emergency medical Services (EMS) wards all 24 hours.

Investigation & procedures on OPD Basis

Lung Function Test OPD 28, 1st floor, above MSW dept, Ext .Ph .No. 3700
Timings: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
Days – Monday to Saturday

Pulmonary Lung function Tests are done
- All by appointment or with prior intimation
- Precaution: Omission of bronchodilator on previous night and same day morning.

Fiberoptic Bronchoscopies

Done in bronchoscopy room next to IRCU
Days -  Monday & Thursday
Timings – 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
-  All by appointment or with prior intimation
- Preparation – Overnight starving.
 -Post procedure Care -  X-ray chest PA view; 
  NBM for 4 hours

Polysomnography [Sleep Study]

Done in IRCU.
[Baseline & titration]
- All be appointment basis
Days – Monday & Tuesday
Overnight admission required, after prior clinical screening, lung functions, 2D ECHO, Thyroid function test

Pre & Post exercise and 100% O2 Arterial Blood Gas study
Days – Tuesday & Friday
Timing - 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Bronchoscopy Schedule

Days - Monday & Thursday

Timings – 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

All by appointment or with prior intimation

Preparation – Overnight starving

Post procedure Care -  X-ray chest PA view;

NBM for 4 hour
